It's been way too long since our favorite chef, Allen Burgess made an appearance on WULU. We were a little concerned that his grandmother got the best of him after he gave away the grilled cheese recipe that it took her almost 80 years to perfect. Well, today Allen makes a bold return and sticks it to his grandma yet again by showing us how to make microwave fudge that's way better than hers.

Either way: is this the new iPhone4G?

The ref's ended up giving the victory to Arizona, but not without escaping network scrutiny from many sports personalities and commentators. Here at WuLU, we are proud of our Bisons and continue to be supportive!

STS-129 launched yesterday at 2:30pm CST for an 11 day mission to the International Space Station to deliver hardware and take part in a few spacewalks. They will return with a station crew member who has been in space for two months. Here is a link to the video of the launch.
Tonight at the Date Auction all proceeds go to the Bryant Hardison Memorial Scholarship. Bryant was a student here last year who died in a tragic accident. This video honors his memory and may give you a better idea of who he was and why his friends and family loved him so much. The scholarship will help a rising senior return to Lipscomb for their senior year who couldn't have otherwise. Come out and support, it's a great cause!

This video documents how the Bruins get pumped for big games. A pep rally? A concert? Something crazy and fun like the Running of the Bison? Not quite. It's...umm...something much more creative.

In an effort to better understand their potential constituents, freshmen student government candidates Becky Austin and Caleb Townsend asked some hard questions of students on campus this week. What did they learn? Well, if they want to win this year they'll need to work hard to appeal to the large percentage of puppy-haters in the freshmen class.
Many of you know Mama Sheila as a beloved employee of the Dining Services here at Lipscomb. But just in case you forgot, we wanted to make sure everyone remembered how much Mama Sheila loves Soulja Boy.
In the second episode of College Cooking, we bring things down a notch to ease the new freshmen into the world of cooking. Today, Allen reveals his grandmother's secret recipe for grilled cheese.
The 2009 season is looking especially promising for our women's volleyball team and men's soccer team. Lipscomb's women's volleyball team is ranked #1 in the ASun preseason poll, and our men's soccer team is ranked #3. What's more, two of our athletes have been selected as ASun preseason player of the year. Check out these interviews with ace volleyball player Alex Kelly, and soccer stud, Miguel DaSilva.
